高滝ダム
養老川中流にあり、県下一の 貯水容積を誇ります。ダム湖の周りには、せせらぎ広場や水生植物園、野外音楽堂、ダム記念館、テニスコートなどたくさんの広場や公園があります。
また、高台には、市指定文化財高滝神社が鎮座しています。本殿は三間社流造の荘重な権現造り。現在の社殿は1727年の建立(こんりゅう)ですが、「日本三代実録」（901年撰集)に名を残す古社でもあります。
Takataki Dam
Located in the middle stream of Yoro river, the dam is number one
in Chiba Prefecture in the volume of water kept in store. Around
the dam lake, there are many squares,parks, and facilities such
as Seseragi square, an aquatic plant garden, an out door concert
hall, a dam memorial hall,tennis courts. On top of the hill, there
stands the Takataki shrine, city's designated cultural asset. The
main shrine is solemn Sangensha styled Gongen-zukuri building. Built
in 1727, the old shrine leaves its name in Japanese authentic records
compiled in 901. |
