弘文洞跡
養老渓谷温泉郷のシンボル赤い橋「観音橋」の左からハイキングコースが川の上流にのびています。その道をたどっていくと、まもなく弘文洞跡。
39代弘文天皇と十市姫にゆかりの深い高塚や筒森神社のそばを流れる蕪来川(かぶらいがわ)を、川回ししてつくった隧道(トンネル)の跡です。切り立った二つの崖は、昔は一つの山に穴を空けたトンネルでしたが、昭和54年(1979)5月24日未明、一大音響とともに崩壊してしまいました。

The remain of Koubun tuunel
From left of the red bridge "Kannon bashi", the symbol of Yoro valley hot spring resort, a hiking course is leading to the upper stream. Tracing after that path, you will soon get to the remain of Koubun cave.
This is the remain of a tunnel over Kaburai river streaming along Takatsuka and Tsutsumori shrine, which are closely related to the 39th emperor Koubun and Princess Toichi. Two sheer cliffs uesd be a tunnel, but collapsed by a loud noise which occured before dawn of 24/May/1979.
