たけのこ堀り(4月上旬〜5月上旬)
総南といわれるこのあたりは、美味しいたけのこの生産地として知られています。
あちこちに竹林があり、たけのこ堀りができます。少し汗をかいて竹林で味わう「たけのこ入りみそ汁」はバツグンです。
また、道路際に「朝堀り」のたけのこが並びますので、ぜひお土産に。
※美味しいたけのこ(皮がついたままの時)は (1)あたまの部分が黄色い。(2)全体にしっとりしている。(3)皮が茶色から赤っぽい(黒っぽいものは固い部分が多い)。
Bamboo shoot digging(early Apr - early May)
The area called Sonan is known as a bamboo shoot‐producing district.
There are several bamboo thickets and visitors have chance to dig
it out. Getting slightly sweaty, try "Miso soup with bamboo
shoot" in the bamboo thicket - it'd taste so nice. Also, the
bamboo shoot just been dug out in the morning are sold on the road
side, and it would be the best for souvenirs. ※Delicious bamboo
shoot ( in its skin ) - (1)the top is yellow,(2) entirely wet,(3)the
skin colour is brown to reddish( black parts are mostly solid) |
